Honda Player Of The Year
The New England Revolution's Clint Dempsey was recently named the 1996 Honda Player of the Year. Rumors have it that the MLS turned down one or more transfer offers before the August 31 closing of the transfer window. Will we be seeing Clint leave for Europe this winter? not really related to this post, but my dad saw Lev Yashin at the 1966 world cup held in england, and to this day he says he is the best keeper he has ever seen.
this included pat jennings, bob wilson, peter schiemiecel, gordon banks, and dino zoff.
Your dad was a lucky man. Lev is clearly one of the all-time greats.
