I have to say I was a bit shocked to wake up this morning and see Chris "Cookie" Coleman has been sacked by Fulham. Why? Sure, they've struggled and slid down the table recently. But what were the club's expectations? A place in Europe? Surely they weren't expecting anything more than mid-table, especially with the small amount of money they've spent on players. If Bullard didn't go out so soon with injury (2 goals in 4 games before the injury) and with the way other teams around them have played, would Coleman still have a job with Fulham in 10th or 11th place?
