Burciaga Update
My apologies for overlooking the obvious and not mentioning that Soccer by Ives is reporting that KC will be trading Burciaga to the Rapids for a draft pick. I should have mentioned it in the previous post [link]. A draft pick, eh? Surely the Rapids wouldn't be so daft as to give up their 1st round pick, #5 overall, for Burciage..... or would they?

I hear it is a 2009 pick. The 2009 draft is far enough away that the coaching staff sees it as small potatoes to get someone like Burciaga.
Yes they would... yes they are.
I heard the same thing as bonji...if only second-to-third hand. All that got rolled into a big speculative post on what Colorado will do with the draft (which actually turned on the question, what Colorado can do with the draft). I'd be interested in your thoughts.
